DSIP (emideltide)
Nomination withdrawn
as of October 2026
By Stephen Kimball, 26+ years researching the health, wellness, supplement, and peptide industries
As of October 2026, DSIP isn’t approved for any use and can’t be legally compounded. It left FDA’s safety-risk list in April 2026 only because its nominators withdrew, and FDA’s page still says the agency hasn’t found safety information for the proposed route. In July 2026, DSIP was the one peptide of seven that FDA’s advisory panel did not recommend: the reported vote was 6 yes, 7 no, 1 abstention. FDA’s own reviewers had also advised against it. Anything sold as DSIP today comes from the “research use only” market.
